Dr. Coleman uses Virtual Reality (VR) technology as a vehicle to provide organizations with valuable information and skills around workforce engagement and cultural intelligence. This VR approach was originally presented to her by a former colleague who had been using the technology with high school students to assist them in developing their capstone projects. He noticed a significantly higher level of subject matter knowledge from his students using the technology. He also noticed that there were a significant amount of programs within the software that aligned around impact, intent and empathy. That’s when he reached out to Dr. Coleman. He felt she could create a unique curriculum to use in her line of work as the Director of Workforce Engagement and Impact for a behavioral health agency. Upon reviewing the technology, Dr. Coleman developed a VR Learning Lab curriculum focused on workforce engagement and cultural intelligence.
